Jenny and Ellis

While driving through rural Mississippi I was surrounded by cotton fields.
They were mesmerizing.
I pulled over, snapped a picture, and posted it to Facebook with the caption,
"I want to do a photo shoot here!"
Later, my good friend Jenny replied, "We'll do it."
It was a gorgeous setting with beautiful friends and I just loved the way the photos turned out.

I received my DSLR while pregnant. 
When our son was traumatically born 11 weeks premature, we were thrown into the NICU world. 
My camera provided me a way to remember, cherish, and focus during such a difficult time. 
I wanted to capture every tiny detail of my 2 pound baby.
